Why we exist

Food discovery online is broken in a specific way: the content that gets seen is chosen by follower count, the offers behind it are stale by the time you arrive, and the restaurant has no idea which post brought you in. Meanwhile the delivery economy taught a generation to eat from boxes.

Bento is our answer. Reels stay the heart of the product, but every reel carries a live, restaurant-controlled perk and a single honest call to action. When you go, we verify the visit and the bill. Rewards, creator payouts and restaurant analytics all flow from that verified moment, never from clicks.

What we hold to

• Reels are core. Discovery is the product, not an add-on.
• Content and commerce are separate. A reel is permanent; the perk on it is dynamic until you claim it, then frozen for your visit.
• Reward verified value, not clicks. No reward for a positive review, ever.
• Restaurant economics matter. We will not race partners to the bottom on discounts.
• Privacy is a product feature. Restaurants never receive raw diner data.
• Every rupee is auditable. Money state is append-only and reconciled.
