Pricing
Nobody pays for a click.
Bento charges when something real happened: a diner walked in, a bill was verified. This page describes every amount a diner, a restaurant or a creator can be charged or paid on Bento. All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where it applies.
Diners
Watching, claiming free perks, booking tables and earning rewards cost nothing. Bento never charges a diner a subscription, a service fee or a convenience fee.
- Claim perks with no payment
- Book tables free where the restaurant asks no deposit
- Rewards are credit at the restaurant, not points that expire quietly
Dine Pass
Some perks are big enough that the restaurant asks for a small commitment. You pay the pass amount in advance, and the entire amount is deducted from your bill when you visit. The pass also carries its perk, for example a free dessert above a minimum spend.
- Exact price, perk, minimum spend and validity are shown before you pay and frozen after
- Each pass states its own cancellation terms up front
- If the restaurant cannot honour the pass, you get a full refund. Refund policy
Table bookings
Most tables book free. For peak slots or large parties a restaurant may ask for a deposit, which is adjusted against your bill when you arrive. The deposit and its no-show terms are shown before you confirm.
- Cancel inside the stated window for a full refund
- If the restaurant cancels, you are always refunded
- No-shows forfeit the deposit to the restaurant
Restaurants
There is no listing fee and no monthly fee to be on Bento. Restaurants pay a platform fee on verified, attributed dine-in value: the part of a bill that Bento demonstrably brought in, confirmed at the table. If a diner did not come through Bento, or the visit could not be verified, there is no fee.
The fee percentage, settlement schedule and any creator campaign budgets are set out in your partner agreement before you go live, and every fee appears as a line item in your dashboard next to the bill it relates to. Creator campaigns run on a fixed budget you set; we never spend beyond it.
Dine Pass and deposit amounts collected from diners are settled to you against the corresponding verified bill, net of the payment processing cost actually incurred. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd.

Creators
Creators are never charged. Anyone can post and refer. Creators whose content leads to verified visits earn rewards; Pro and Elite creators can also take on paid restaurant campaigns with a fixed fee plus a performance component, paid out after the qualifying visits are verified.
Payouts are made to a bank account or UPI ID in the creator's own name, after tax deduction where the law requires it. Payout statements are available in the app.
Taxes and invoices
Prices shown to diners are final. Any GST on the meal, a Dine Pass or a deposit is the restaurant's, at the restaurant's own rate, and is included in the amount you see. Bento Ventures is a sole proprietorship and is not registered under gst, so no GST is added to Bento's own fees and Bento issues receipts and statements rather than GST tax invoices; this changes automatically if and when Bento registers. Restaurants and creators receive a statement for every fee or payout.
